With the end of year approaching quickly, I’m reminded of how blessed we have been this year as a company. We have many new retail partners including Terra Organic Spa, Beautyhabit.com, Spa Al Mare in Key West, Browbar in Atlanta, Tru Beauty in Hobbs, NM, and Cooper Spa in McKinney, TX, not to mention the tremendous growth we’ve seen in our Spa Habitat locations in Texas and Oklahoma. We are so excited about these partnerships and about the excitement that is growing over the Clovertree line!

We visited Ft. Lauderdale, FL in November and exhibited at the IECSC Convention. It was a great experience. I had a super creative colleague who attended with me and crafted the booth artwork by hand. Here are a couple of pictures of our booth:

The backdrop of our booth was a screen made out of organic pipe cleaners in the shapes of peace, love, & beauty (peace sign, heart and flower). It was absolutely beautiful and attracted a lot of people. We had a few even offer to buy the screen right out of our booth! It was nice to display and demonstrate our brand to many Floridians who had never heard of us!

We also launched several new products this year… liquid facial cleansers, treatment sprays, and a firming eye cream, along with a mom and baby butter, and a new scent for our body collection: neroli blossom.

The new website carries a variety of natural and organic personal care products, including herbal remedies (such as the popular Muscle Relief Balm and Wonder Tonic), skin care (including cleansers, facial tonics and lip care) and bath and body (featuring luxurious lotions, creams, handmade soaps and body washes.) Clovertree, already a popular organic beauty line in the Dallas area, is excited to rapidly expand its reach across United States through its new online offering.

Clovertree Apothecary was established in 2009 in order to fill a much needed void in the organic beauty marketplace. Clovertree is off to the Golden Globes!

Well, I can’t believe it! Last year I started creating a product line called “Clovertree” out of my love for pure, organic products. We started carrying them in our spas (Spa Habitat, www.spahabitat.com) and one year later we are sending samples to the Golden Globes!

We carry a really cool candle line called “Hip & Hippie” at our spas (they are a really pure candle line with a really neat message, check them out at www.hipandhippie.com). Anyway, one of our clients bought a Hip & Hippie candle from us, gave it to a friend, who recommended it to the people who pick the products for the Golden Globe gift lounges. Deann at Hip & Hippie asked if we wanted to help sponsor them to the Golden Globes and we said yes…. then…. they got permission for us to put samples of Clovertree products in all of the Hip & Hippie gift bags.

Anyway, since we are a fairly new product company, we had NO samples pre-made. So, the race was on to figure out how to get some product samples made up in just a few days and send them off in time for the show.

My first question to myself was… what product do we have in the Clovertree product line that has the coolest story and is the most unique? I immediately, without hesitation, thought of the Wonder Tonic. It is my FAVORITE product in the line.

We have our own herbalist who makes this product especially for us. She hand picks, mind you, 20 different healing herbs, and then hand infuses them into certified organic olive oil. Some of the herbs that she uses include rose petals, calendula petals, comfrey, violet leaf, plantain, marsh mallow root, and gotu kola. I will go into more detail about these herbs in future blogs. She also adds organic helichrysum, frankincense and lavender. Not only does this oil smell heavenly, it is packed full of vitamins and the super healing herbs of helichrysum and frankincense, which are wonderful for healing scars; they are anti-inflammatory, help tighten the skin, reduce under eye circles, and reduce redness. I’ve personally been using this tonic on my face for about a month now and have seen a huge difference in my skin. I’ve seen a reduction in fine lines, my adult acne has cleared up, I have less redness, and a nice glow to my skin. So, the choice was clear…. Wonder Tonic!!! I quickly called my herbalist and ordered 2 quarts of wonder tonic to be shipped to me… made sure I had all the bottles I needed and had the labels overnighted to my house. Here is a pic of the wonder tonics after I filled them:

I labeled them, put them in recycled kraft boxes, stamped the clovertree logo on them, put bows and pendants on them, and they were ready to go!

And then there were 90 boxes…time to box up, pray a short prayer that they will get there safely, and ship!

Thank you to Julie and Deann at Hip & Hippie for allowing us to experience this event with them, and to put our products out there. Who knows who will receive our products, but we do know this is a step in the right direction for us. Hoping and praying for a productive and successful 2010!!! I will keep you all posted!
